| Lately, we've had some awesome fall weather here where I live in the Panhandle of Florida which got me in the mood to paint some fall landscapes. I've been working on three small paintings at the same time and just finished up today. Above, is the first of the three. I had a lot of fun painting these since I wasn't concerned with trying to portray a particular place or scene--I just simply had a concept in my head of what I wanted to end up with on my canvas. Sometimes I wonder if I paint better when I have little or no reference to guide me but instead just let the painting take a life of it's own? I was very pleased with these three and I hope you enjoy them as well. |
