I painted this nocturne while sitting on a dock one evening at Treasure Island Marina in Panama City Beach, Florida. I was immediately drawn to the interesting view of this little fuel depot on the water where boats come to refuel. There were so many different colors of light shimmering on the water from various signs and restaurants that it was sure to present a fun and rewarding challenge.
